By visiting the County Waste Schedule page or using the County Waste App, residential customers served in Ulster, Greene, and Columbia counties in New York can easily lookup their pickup schedule and learn about any upcoming Holiday Schedule service changes.
Residential Pickup Schedule
The useful tools below and the County Waste App make it easy for residential customers to use their desktop, tablet or smartphone to look up their schedule and check the Waste Wizard to make sure items are acceptable in County Waste NY carts. As a reminder, not all materials are allowed in trash or single stream recycling carts. Customers are encouraged to read our Inclement Weather Information.

Christmas Tree Pickup
After Christmas Day, natural Christmas tree pickup services are available in some areas. You may contact us via email to request a tree pickup for a small fee.
A special truck is used for natural Christmas tree collections.
Please read these important reminders:
- We collect REAL Christmas trees ONLY. We do not pickup artificial trees.
- Please cut trees to a maximum of 7 feet.
- Remove everything from the tree, especially tinsel. The trees are going to a tree farm so they cannot have anything on them.
